Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved the taste of coffee.  I remember begging my mom for a taste every time I saw her with a cup.  She would sometimes put a teaspoon of the marvelous brown liquid into my glass of milk.  And each time, I would beg for more than a teaspoon, but a teaspoon was all I would get.  Even now that I wear big girl pants, I still love “milk with lots of coffee.”  Some call it misto; some call it café au lait.  I call it delicious.  Let’s go into the etsy coffee shop, and see what they’re brewing today.

It is inhumane, in my opinion, to force people who have a genuine medical need for coffee to wait in line behind people who apparently view it as some kind of recreational activity.  I bet this kind of thing does not happen to heroin addicts.  I bet that when serious heroin addicts go to purchase their heroin, they do not tolerate waiting in line while some dilettante in front of them orders a hazelnut smack-a-cino with cinnamon sprinkles.  ~Dave Barry

Way too much coffee.  But if it weren’t for the coffee, I’d have no identifiable personality whatsoever.  ~David Letterman

The next two items are extra special because the artists used coffee as a tool of their trade.  blackcatmima dyed this silky seam binding ribbon in a bath of Starbuck’s black coffee:

  1. I enjoyed reading this. My experience is a tad different, I loved the smell more than the taste.

Thank you for including my cuff in your beautiful mix of Cafe au Lait.

  3. I appreciate that the last item, the t-shirt rug, was dyed with decaf coffee but did they save all that precious caffeination for me this morning, please? 😀

I can almost smell the delicious aroma of your post. It certainly helped me wake up, thank you!
