Art from the ♥ Celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Meet Koryn Hutchison.  She is married to a military officer and is a mother of three sons and a daughter.  She enjoys walking, cooking, baking, kayaking, shopping and beading. Koryn, likes so many other women, is currently undergoing chemo therapy for breast cancer.  Her etsy shops are a great means of coping and staying productive.

MothersPreciousGems, named for Koryn’s four “precious gems,” features custom designed mothers’ and children’s jewelry, as well as cancer/disease awareness jewelry. Koryn donates 10% of MothersPreciousGems proceeds to the American Cancer Society.  In November 2008, Koryn opened BosomBuddies, a shop that features great gifts and products there for breast cancer patients. 100% of shop profits are donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation for cancer research.

  4. A wonderful feature for such an important cause! We’ve all known someone that has been touched by breast cancer; a co-worker, family member, friend of a friend, etc. Keep the awareness going, and I just love the little girl photo – her shirt truly does say it all!
