Sign of the Times

Several years ago, my son took this photo while visiting Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco.  It brought back memories of a bygone time. Evidently, the old hippies who were selling these bumper stickers didn’t know that we are well into the 21st Century!

There is something wonderfully clever in conveying an idea so concisely that it fits on a button or bumper sticker.  And it seems that each generation or at least each decade has its own set of messages. So, here is my homage to short, sweet signs of the times…LoveistheNewBlack2Take me Shopping

  1. I see signs that say, “Shiny Things” and am happy for hours. It works with actual shiny things too.

  2. LOL!!! I ❤ those buttons!!! You know how they say french is the language of love… I looooove that button! I have to say that I was bewitched by other "darker" things! The Hello Darkness sticker is killing me! I have a bf who would love that (As if I had many bfs xD )
